Exclamation Will Bench Warrants Be Found When You Go to Traffic Court

My question involves traffic court in the State of: AR

My husband got pulled over last month on a road trip, and got a speeding ticket. Now, we would have just sent in the money for the ticket and be done with it, but we were borrowing his mother's car and his step-dad hadn't put the proof of insurance in the car like he was suppose to (it was insured, just didn't have the paperwork in the car) and they also cited him for no proof of insurance, and so we have to appear in court with that proof for them to drop that one. The problem with this is that he had fines from another traffic violation from a couple of years ago that he wasn't able to pay off at the time, and has since had a bench warrant issued for him. The officer who pulled him over didn't arrest him, didn't even mention a warrant or anything, so my question is, will this other county where he has to go to court for the speeding ticket pull that warrant and arrest him if he shows up for court? He goes to court in 6 days and I'm very nervous. Thank you all for your time...

The judge doesn't run background checks on defendants. I can't promise, though, that the prosecutor won't be aware of any outstanding warrants, and I have no information about distances or the pickup radius on the warrant.

Tell hubby to pay his fines and take care of the warrant, such that it stops being an issue.

Thank you for your help. There is no prosecutor, just the judge. It's traffic court. And it is easier said than done to just pay the fines. We live on less than $1000/month. We have rent and all our other expenses and are lucky if we have any money left over to pay for things such as fines or to put into savings. Thanks again.
