My question involves a relationship in the state of: Arizona

My question is this my boyfriend of 8 years and I broke up almost 2 years ago, when he left and moved to another country he said he would take his belongings that were important to him and put them in storage the rest was mine. I have now become engaged to another man, now he is angry and states he wants the washer/ dryer and many other things. If I dont pay him $1600 he will sue me in small claims. Can he do this after walking away from these belongings?

You just told us that the items were his and that you agreed to store them for him. Now he wants them back? So he gets them back. Like you said, they're his.
