How to Get a Lawyer to Stop Ignoring My Emails

I'm stuck with an unbelievably unresponsive and incompetent lawyer [...] who refuses to respond promptly to my emails, even when I stress the urgency of the situation. Any ideas on how to get such an attorney to have the decency to at least respond? She and her firm are without doubt the worst law firm I've ever experienced, ever even heard of for that matter. Just unbelievably terrible law firm, at so many levels. But my question at the moment is simply how to get [...] to promptly answer my emails, instead of leaving me hanging, waiting constantly? Any creative ideas?

I think you are about to be sued for libel.

After that you might try interpreting her behavior back to her. It's called process commentary. Kids, and adults, hate it.

What's your definition of 'promptly'?

For most businesses, their definition seems to be 24-48 hours.

Next time, pick up the phone. If she has court all day, she's not going to get your email, and at least the office will be able to tell you that.
