I had a court hearing in Lewis county district court, WA.. The hearing was for speeding ticket. The officer that gave me the ticket did not show up for the hearing. The judge still did not dismiss my ticket and instead she read a statement from the officer and decided that the fraction did happen. I paid for the ticket based on her decision. I am wondering if the judge followed the rules since the officer did no appear in court. Is there anything I can do to reverse the court decision? Any input would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
