I have not received a ticket at this point, I am considering putting one on the rear windshield of my vehicle and I live in NJ. Before I had it installed I wanted to the law on it.
I'm not positive, but I believe that you could have completely opaque rear and rear side windows in New Jersey and still be legal. Only the front windshield ad the front side windows are restricted, and they can't have ANYTING, no tint, nothing.
The advertisement is a banner for my business is it legal to advertise a business on a private vehicle meaning not a commercial vehicle.
Does anyone know about the ^ ?

It ought to be completely legal to have commercial advertising on your private vehicle, as a First Amendment right.
You may need a passenger-side mirror in order to legally obscure your rear window.
