Re: Michigan Wrong Surgery/False Documents
I just can't believe that this can happen and no one can help me with it.
If you are willing to pay hourly for an attorney, I am sure you can find somebody to help you sue the doctor. The fact is; it is not, financially, a winning case so lawyers that might take it on contingency won't because they will actually lose money by doing so. So, if you are willing to pay a lawyer, I'm sure you can find one that will represent you.
If you don't want to see the doctor get away with this, file a complaint with the Michigan licensing board and if he is an AMA member, with them.
So, what was their reasoning for performing and open surgery instead of a lap?
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.
