Default How to Get a Certified Copy of a Court Order

Please help. I had a Domestic Relations Order (DRO) made as part of my divorce settlement 10 years ago at the age of 50. I just found out that my ex-husband has retired last year, so I sent the DRO to his pension plan, only to have them deny it for a few minor reason. I have since corrected those myself (they were so minor I didn't need an attorny), but don't know how to get this version court certified?

I have everything, the original divorce settlement (with the seal), the original DRO (which was denied), and the corrected one I made myself... I just don't know how to go about getting the court certification stamp.

    Please help. Thank you.

You will likely have to bring a motion with the court asking that the order be amended. Will your ex- cooperate with this process?

You certainly will not be able to get the Amended Domestic Relations Order certified unless it is filed with the Clerk of the Court. To do that, you would need to most likely file the appropriate motion and submit the order for the judge to sign.
