Can I Get a Pardon in Virginia for a Misdemenor

My question involves criminal law for the state of: virginia
i got a class A misdemeanor for a petty larceny in virginia 3 yrs ago and want to improve my employment eligablity can i get a pardon to help me with this or do i have to move to another state to help me out i had community service and paid fines with 3 day jail sentence

Here's a link to "simple pardons" Virginia. You must wait for 5 years and moving to another state would make no difference. The pardon would go through the Governor of Virginia. Why do you think moving out of state would help?
