Good day my lawyer friends,
My name is Damien and I have a question for you guys/girls.
Say I have a patented invention (for United States) and want to sell it to General Motors for 5.000.000. First thing they say (hypotheticly) is; ''No way! That is just too much money! But thanks for the idea!'' and next thing you know my product is being sold by their firm. I want to sew but after a while I find out that they have so many ''ammunition'' when it comes lawyers that they can just play me out by making the legal procedure so long that I won't have any money left (which makes leaving it to them seem more money-saving). When it comes to patents for inventions that can lead to million dollar deals (licenses) are there law firms that would be willing to take it on commision? Say, they fight to the bitter end for 45 % or less/more?
I hope you know what I mean, my English is not that well.
Thank you in advance!
Yours sincerely,
Damien
