    Default Child Support

My question involves child support in the State of: Ohio

so back in 06 i was pregnant well at the time i wasnt sure who the father was well my boyfriend signed the birth certificate in 07 when our son was born my sons blood type dont match either of our blood types so that leaves me to believe that the he is nopt the father well its 2011 now and we are not together and the state is going after him for child support he is wanting to contest for a dna test so my question is even if he is not the father will he have to pay since he signed the birth certificate????

    Default Re: Child Support

According to Ohio law, he cannot rescind (withdraw) the affidavit of paternity at this point. The only person who could challenge paternity would be the potential biological father and even then, the court can deny the petition.
