My question involves a traffic accident in the State of: California
I was in a accident by myself. There were no injuries and no property damage. I was arrested for a DUI and convicted of wreckless driving.
I am under 21 so I lost my license for a year. My year is almost up. However I just received a notice from the DMV that they are going to suspend my license for another 6 months because I have a total of 4 point.
1 point came from a camera red light infraction.
2 points came from the DUI arrest that lead to a conviction of the wreckless driving and court advisory DUI Statement.
The final point is coming from the accident.
All of the points have seperate violation dates.
In the officers collison report (CHP) 555 page 2. It states primary collision factor 23152 a & b, Cited he checked the box yes. Hence the 2 points on my driving record
In the middle of the report it states other associated factors. The officer writes 22107 VC, Cited NO.
My question is can the DMV charge me with a point for the accident even though there was no citation for 22107
Thanks for your help.
