Default Illegal Repossession
My car payment was due on May 15th with a grace period until May 24th. Tonight they repossessed my car (May 19th). Is this legal being that May 24th has not arrived? :shock :?

Default Repossession of Car
You are current on all payments, and were a mere nine days late on a single payment?

To determine your lender's rights, you would have to check your contract with the lender. But what you describe would be very unusual even if the lender gave itself the right to repossess before the end of the grace period.
