Re: No Left Turn Except Buses at Northern Blvd and Main Street Queens

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: NY
I got pulled at night ~9:30pm for making a left turn from Northern Blvd onto Main Street in Queens, NY. I did not see any signs that stated no left turn except for buses on Northern Blvd. The only sign I did notice was a no left turn sign which was posted on Main Street. The police officer that pulled me over told me that there were signs posted, but I did not see them, and I was not the only one that did not see them. There was a total of 6 cars that were pulled over within ~ 5 mins, and about another 6 vehicles that i noticed made the left turn (but i am not sure if they were pulled over also).
Is this a legit case to appeal the ticket and is there anyone out there that had the same experience?
Thank you.
According to the Google Maps Street View of "Northern Blvd and Main St, Queens, NY" (assuming I've got the correct direction), the only sign I see is a "Left Lane Must turn Left" sign with no "Bus Only" restriction. Of course things could have changed since those images were captured so you might want to drive by and take several pictures (showing the street name signs) and take those with you to court. Simply stating "I didn't see the sign" does not mean it isn't there.
I am right 97% of the time... Who cares about the other 4%!
