Billing Time Limits

My question involves business law in the state of: Idaho

I have been invoiced by a contractor for work done in 2005-2007 for well over $40,000.00. While I can not dispute the work was done, I can no longer remember the hours worked or the equipment. It is for a total of 18 seperate invoices I received at once.
I have asked again and again to be invoiced timely but with no luck. I have been invoiced for other work they preformed in 2008-2009.
Is there a time limit on how long they can wait to bill me? What are my options?

The statute of limitations will be four or five years, depending upon the full facts and any associated writings; it's not clear from your statement when the statute would be deemed to have started to run. You are free to ask the contractor to provide supporting documentation in relation to the work performed.
