Reckless (Improper) Driving in Virginia

My question involves a reckless driving ticket from the State of: VA (Loudoun County)

Ticket was for at fault accident. Have clean VA and drivers record for past 8 years Never caused an accident before.No one from either party was injured in the accident.

When the officer gave me the citation report he mentioned as Reckless (imporper) on the same and he mentioned about telling the Judge about the same on the day of hearing.

I am planning on taking Defensive Drivers exam and take the certification with me on the day of hearing.

My Question is :

Is is ok I can go to the court without a Attoney ? (also take a defensive driver certificate with me,) as the cop has already mentioned Improper on the citation report

OR

Take an attorney with me.

The answer this time isn't going to be any different than what I said the last time you asked this question.
First, you need to tell us which of the reckless statutes you were charged with. It will be something like 46-2.852.
It would still behoove you to talk to an attorney.
While it's probably unlikely (unless you were doing more than 100 MPH or racing), you could get JAIL for this.
You can talk to the commonwealth's attorney to see what they intend to do in the prosecution and whether they will bargain down.
But unless they take jail off the table, I sure wouldn't show up in court without a lawyer.

thanks for the reply. Sorry I forgot to mention , Here is what I see on the citation report, L 46.2 -852. Reckless (Improper)
During the Accident, both the cars were at speed limit on that road, it was a case of my mis judegement to realize the 2 way stop to be a 4 way stop.

Please advise.

I will have to talk to Commonwealth Attorney as to what they intend to do in prosecution.
