Handicap Parking Violation After Snowfall

My question involves a traffic citation from the state of: Colorado
first i know i was wrong for parking in a handicap spot but it was debatable. There was snow on the ground and you could not see the parking spot lines and everybody was parked all messed up so i squeezed in and parked my car a little more then half way of the handicap sign.
story:
after i return to my car from the auto part store the lady next to me in her car told me i was parked in handicap spot i told her ok and got in my car.. she starts yelling and then calls the police to report me for parking there. I heard her give the police my license plate and description, so i ignored her and just left. so my question is can or will they send me a ticket though the mail?

The police will only send a ticket in the mail if the lady that was parked next to you signs a complaint. If that happens the lady will have to go to court to testify that you were parked in a handicapped parking space.
