How to Lower a Wage Garnishment Order

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: Michigan.

I have a default judgement entered against me for $6700. I just received a notice of wage garnisment in the total of 25% of my paycheck...is there anyway that I can petition the courts to get this lowered or to just make payments to the debt agency myself?

Unfortunately for you, no you cannot. Your chance to do that was before the agency got a judgement and wage garnishment. FYI, its 25% of your net, not your gross, if that helps at all.
