Default Kicked out of house
I'm 16 and live in North Carolina. My dad kicked me out. I've been staying with an aunt for 5 months now and my dad still will not let me come home. I do not want to stay here. I'm not allowed to use the phone or even walk around the block. I can only go outside if I stay in the screened in porch. I have to sneak around to get access to the computer. Since I was kicked out would I be considered a "runaway" if I just left. I want to live with a friend but could they be considered "harboring a runaway".

I would contact the police. Your father (and mother) are required to support you at least until you are 18 and it doesn't sound like you have done anything to constitute emancipation on your part. Be advised that you may end up in a foster home.
