Default Can I Advertise Products for Sale Without Being a Reseller

My question involves business law in the state of: Ny

I am starting a company where I will need to use Hp/Dell monitors in conjunction with my product. Do i need to get rights to put pictures on my website?
I will be acquiring the products from retail outlets when doctors order them so i dont necessarly need to get reseller pricing.

    thanks,
    Joe

If it helps, i will be purchasing these items and taking pictures of it myself.

If you're asking whether you can use images that belong to the company without their permission, they hold copyright on those images. I doubt that Dell will withhold permission for you to use images of products you intend to convince your clients to purchase in association with your services; try asking.

    Wrongo.

You can take and use all the pictures of products that you want. You don't need permission from Dell or anyone else. If you take the photos you own the copyrights.

If your selling the monitors with your product then it is entirely appropriate to have pictures of them. You can resell products you purchase at retail. You don't need anyone's permission. You should though have a sales tax certificate so sales tax doesn't have to be paid twice on them.

If the monitor was not included in the purchase, generally you grey out that item in the picture and include a statement it is not included.
