Default Wife As Head of Household

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: FL

I am married and am sole support for my husband for over 20 years. He has not worked for 20 years due to back injury but we have not gone through the process of SS disability. Can Collection Agency GACC may sue me for debt and garnish wages. I am finally working again after almost 18 months of being laid-off. We cannot afford any garnishment as we are just making ends meet now.

If a creditor attempts to obtain an order of garnishment against you, you can assert your status as head of household as a defense.
