Default Ending Guardianship of a Minor

My question involves guardianship in the State of: New York
I received Legal Guardianship of a 16y/o girl in Sept 2010. She is not a relative, but a friend of my son. Her mother nor grandmother want any kind of connection with her, but are still very much apart of life far as her rights as a child.(?) When she came to me she was working and going to school. In October an incident happened in school were the child was suspended. A few days later I found out why. She failed three classes then threatened a teacher, cursed the principal and proceeded to through violent fits throwing things and so on. Of course acting as if she was my child I placed her under punishment and made her quit her job. As a result she ran away from home for a week with the advice of her aunts, grandmother and mother. I told the school counselor and Child Services instantly got involved. This child repeatedly said she was not coming back to me because she wasn't going to follow my rules. Child Services then took her from her school with my consent and the following day was a conference. In the conference the child repeated the same thing until the grandmother said she feared the child to be in a group home and she has had a stroke, indicating this may bring on another one. Right then the child said she would come back home, listen and respect my rules. The same day she was sent back to me. Since then the child has gotten worst, she is in a gang and doesn't speak to any of the four children living in my home; which are my birth children. She comes in when she wants to and doesn't obey the rules and punishment is something that doesn't happen to her. I contacted Child Services many times asking them to please take this children for she is a danger to the other children. Child Service told me No, she is my responsibility. What can I do to end my guardianship.

you have court appointed guardianship, yes? You will have to request the courts terminate the guardianship.
I am not an attorney and any advice is not to be construed as legal advice. You might even want to ignore my advice. Actually, there are plenty of real attorneys that you might want to ignore as well.

Yes I have been appointed by the court, I can do that even though Child Services are involved?
