Default Result From Illegal Possession Of Fireworks
Hello, I am a 14 year old boy from San Jose, California. I am of asian ethnicity and I celebrate a holiday known to most as Chinese New Year. After the celebration, I had some firecrackers. The firecrackers were a tradition in the event. Basically I had friends over during memorial weekend. During the time I went to my backyard and I used the firecrackers. They were not fireworks but they were small firecrackers. Very Loud. My neighbor called 911 scared i might burn something down. The San Jose Police as well as a firetruck came to my house in fear that i was burning something. My friends were let off because I begged the officer to give me the blame. I recieved a citation and it was the first offense I ever commited. Today I recieved a letter In which said i would have to appear before a Deputy Probation Hearing Officer in which I would need to show my report card. The offense was Possession of Fire Works and basically I am very scared and I do not know what will happen to me. I really am a normal kid.. not a trouble maker. I just made a horrid decision after certain festivities. I was hoping someone would tell me the consequences I most likely shall be facing. Thank You Very Much

Most likely, something between a lecture and warning and probation. They likely want your report card to get a quick reality check as to whether you may need some additional structure added to your life. (That is, if your grades are faltering, they would be more likely to consider probation or counseling requirements to help you get back on track.)
