Unhappy I Have Had an Outstanding Arrest Warrant for Almost 5 Years

My question involves an arrest warrant from the State of: FL

In May 2006 I was stopped by a police officer for driving with a suspended license for not paying a ticket, arrest me and put me a bail of $ 500 which my mom paid. The day I had to go to court I not attended by ignorant did not know how this works, because I was only 2 years living in the united states and never had arrested me in my life, so did not know the system. Did not attend the court will put a warrant arrest and do not understand the charges said to be FTA DWLS W / KNOW I want to fix this cause I got married recently and I have a 3 year old daughter now live in NJ and I want to get my driver's license and live in peace. Soon I will have to travel to Honduras I have no passport and my daughter either. Wishing to know is there will be a problem with three things

The first: If I can get my passport? since it is a noncriminal offense

Second: I can get a passport for my daughter? without any problem

Third: If you think I will have no problem when making the legal papers to my husband because we have more than 6 years together and have a baby of 3 years if this will be an impediment so he can arrange his legal status here in the United States

You are free to apply for a passport and see what happens.

You haven't told us your daughter's age or whether your spouse would be joining you in the application for a passport. Read this.

We know nothing about your husband's immigration circumstances, whether he entered the country legally, or whether he's even in the U.S., so we're not positioned to speculate about his eligibility for status based on marriage.

Foregive me, my daughter is 3 years old and my husband entered to the country legally with visa but he remained, he did not leave when he should do it, I spoke with the lawyer and as he entered legal, than he will not have problems in resolving his migratory status now she did not be able to tell me if there will be some problem with this warrant that I have

And I also read that in five years a warrant like this expires and does not return to my record is that true???

And Thank you so much for reply me

In some jurisdictions it's possible for a warrant to expire from the active system after a number of years; in others it remains active indefinitely. In either case, your flight from justice does not prevent you from being prosecuted.

Normaly driving with a suspened liscense is a misdeamanor, chances are if you paid all your tickets the charge could of been dropped or reduced, maybe something can be worked out. I would hire a lawyer and reslove the suatation, then apply for the passport and work on getting your liscense in order.
