Default Defenses for Rolling Through a Stop Sign

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Alabama

Came to an intersection with a stop sign, slowed down to 1 mph and made right turn. Pulled over and ticketed by officer sitting at top of hill for failing to stop completely at sign. Court date is in 2 weeks, do I have any chance of getting out of this one?

I should mention that I went to court about a month ago for speeding (less than 15 mph over limit) and the officer did not show. Judge was going to grant officer continuance, but gave me the option of dismissing ticket after paying court costs - I accepted.

If I go to court, I will be seeing the same judge and I'm not sure he'll let me attend drivers school eligible for first time violations. Any advice?

The sign was a standard stop sign, at standard height, not in any way obscured by structures or vegetation?

Yes. Stop sign was in plain view and unobstructed.
