    Default No Show Attorney

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tn Haven't been able to get a hold of attorney for an up coming court date. If the attorney doesn't show is it lawful for the judge to hear the case without the attorney. The case has been continued by the attorney 3 times. What should the client do if attorney doesn't show up. Thanks

Depending upon the type of case you may be able to waive your right to counsel. I expect that your lawyer has an office address to which you can send mail, a fax machine to which you can send faxes, a telephone through which you can leave messages, and probably an email account through which you can convey written information. I would suggest availing yourself of those options to try to reach your lawyer or, if you truly cannot reach your lawyer, considering a different lawyer who is responsive to your communications.
