    Default Getting a Police Report from the Police Department

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: NC

    Is it safe for defendant to contact police deptt to request for police report. |Currently case is in court. i requested my lawyer, but he is not helping me efficiently although he had shown me for brief time but never get me the copy

    Most police departments have a procedure by which you may request a copy of a police report. Check the website for the police agency that completed the report, or go to the agency and ask.
