Default Does Civil Contempt Violate Probation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Idaho
Civil Contempt for not returning a child, would that be a violation of Probation, (probation on a criminal non related charge). Also does a sworn affidavit from a cop stand up in court if the officer is unwilling or can not appear?
Being charged with Contempt because I did as four authority figures said and got a protection order for my child and was told not to return her until an investigation was over or the Judge said to.
My Lawyer is Legal Aide and doesnt want to help me. Its been a struggle with him.

That would be "maybe". I can't read the terms of your probation from where I'm sititng, but sometimes the terms are broad enough that having the police called to the scene of something you're doing can be construed as a violation.

I would expect a probation violation hearing to proceed based upon live testimony, and for it to be rescheduled if the officer is both a necessary witness and is unavailable.
