How to Estimate How Long an Inmate Will Be in Prison

My question involves criminal law for the state of:IOWA The inmates was on probation for a 5yr precurser charge when he was arrested for indecent exposure, he got 1yr to run concurrent on his 5yr charge. neither crimes were violent he served 1yr in county and 1/2yr in a halfway house. He is goin to prison on his precurser revocation charge. He is easily influenced and i worry about him being around the wrong people for to long, hes never been to prison before. How long do u think he will stay in prison?

The year he did in the county jail and the 6 months he did in the halfway house should count right? As time served?
