    Default Willful, Deliberate, Premeditated Murder

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

    Im wondering what will happen to someone whos being charged with willful deliberate premeditated murder, they are currently going to court over it, i believe they are trying to claim insanity, they have there own lawyer. My boyfriend has a child with the person being charged and we are trying to get information with whats going to happen and with it still being in court we can get any info. Please help.

    No one here can predict the outcome of the trial.

    I'd say it's a good bet that the defendant will be going to prison, but to speculate further would be irresponsible.

    I figured she would be going to prison. Just wondering if by her trying to claim insanity if it would affect the time at all. Maybe this will help in getting more information. She received a call stating that her daughter had gotten bit by a dog while she was at work. So she called the police, well she was not happy with the police respond time so she called the police back and stated she would handle it herself and she would probually be going to jail. When she got home and realized it was her neighbors dog, she got a knife and went for the owner with the knife over head but the neighbor fought her off. She was arrested the next day, for willfull deliberate attempted murder. Also to add the dog didn't even break skin on the daughter.
