Default I Don't Believe the Radar

My question involves traffic court in the State of: California
I was ticketed for going 48 in a 35 mph zone based on radar. I believe I was going 39, still above the speed limit. Based on these facts, do I have a chance to beat the ticket if the cop shows up in court? There were other cars on the street, and I was in the left lane passing a bunch of cars moving slower in the right lane. How do I approach this? Or should I bite the bullet and request traffic school. Thanks.

Ultimately, its whether the judge beieves the Radar speed measurement or not... And more often than not, the officer testifying he clocked you at 48 is enough for the judge to believe it.

I assume you were cited for VC 22350. Search the "speeding forum" and you'll find plenty of direction on how you can try and fight it.
I am right 97% of the time... Who cares about the other 4%!
