Getting Married to Somebody Who Entered the U.S. Illegally

Greetings all. I have encountered a similar situation where the husband and wife were recently married a month ago. The husband entered the US without inspection. The wife is a Lawful Permanent Resident. Is it possible for the husband to fill out form I 601 in order to apply for a K VISA? Must the husband leave the US to fill out the I 601 form? Or, does he qualify under the LIFE Act for waiver of inadmissibility? Your help is very much appreciated. Please let me know if more details are needed. My apologies if this question has been covered in a previous thread, as I could not find a conclusive answer in my search. Thank you again.

An I-601 is filed from outside of the United States. A fiancé visa is also for a person located outside of the United States.

You've not given any facts that would suggest that he qualifies for any relief under the LIFE Act.
