I was left many hundreds of photos dating back to the beginning of photography, and one of these photos was an 8 x 10 mint condition photo of Rhonesboro, Texas in the late 1800s. I uploaded this picture to a place called Ancient Faces, however, you have to log on there as a member, and one of the things you have to agree to is not downloading any of the photos for personal use and if you use them you must get written permission from the owner.

Recently I came across this very same photo that someone had taken and made into a reprint and is selling them for 9.99 a piece. I know this is my picture as I have the original hard board photo. Upon looking further into this guys business, all his "photos" are reprints, and from just looking, it appears he has gone to various court houses, libraries, etc. all over Texas and taken a picture of the pictures of the old buildings, and is now selling these as "photo reprints".

I am very angry that he took mine, but isn't that illegal for him to use these images to make money, and especially without getting permission. Thank you so much for any help anyone can be. Have a great day.
