How do you terminate guardianship in Illinois of a troubled teen

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to terminate guardianship of my 14 yr old niece? My sister passed a way 2 1/2 years ago and I have had her daughter since then but, she is very disrespectful and has alot of other issues that I can no longer deal with. I am a single parent of a 14 year old son and will be giving birth in a month and it is too much for me now. I talked to the guardianship office and they said that if I gave my niece up that they would take my son and new baby too. I don't understand that because, if I can't handle her, then why should me and my children have to suffer? Please, help. Thanks, Vikkie

You have this guardianship by virtue of the order of a court? Do you know of anybody else who would be willing and appropriate to assume guardianship of your niece?
