International Travel with Warrant

My question involves an arrest warrant from the State of: CA

Im supposed to be going out of the country for work. I missed my surrender date because of work on an old DUI. I cant afford to miss work at all and I don't know what to do to fix all of this before I go..... Can I do weekends to repay my time? Will the judge care at all or just send me to jail causing me to lose my job?

Im sure I have a warrant out for my arrest. I will be flying out of the same county of the issuing warrant, then flying to a hub on the east coast and then my destination. Same with the return.

Is it possible to get there? Will be stopped on the way in?

no way to determine if you will be identified as having a warrant or not especially given the state of security.


If you cannot afford to miss work, you should hire an attorney to try to keep you out of jail. Without one, once caught, you will go to jail. You will have to be processed and bailed out. How long that takes depends on the court. Could be a few hours, could be a few days, or even longer depending on the circumstances.

as to being able to do weekends; again, hire an attorney. I don't know where you are and if that might even be available.
