DUI Probation Violation

Is it a violation to drink alchol while on probation for a DUI? Say if I got a DUI for the first time, and then a few weeks later got drunk at a bar that I walked to, and was mugged when I was walking home while intoxicated, am I in violation of my parole? I live in Colorado.

Does your probation prohibit your consumption of alcohol, or are you a minor? If so, then yes. If not, it's unlikely - but you may wish to consult your probation officer.

It doesn't say anywhere specificly that drinking is not allowed, however I am required to attend alcohol classes as part of the probation. I'm not exactly sure what that means. I am not a minor.
