Officer Wrote Wrong CVC on Ticket

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: CAlifornia

I got a ticket for speeding and for having front tinted windows, but the svs code used for the window tint was 16028a and he wrote tinted front side windows, but it is the wrong code which is for no insurance but i gave it to him at the time. Can this be used to dismiss the whole ticket? seems pretty wrong to write me a ticket for something else that cost almost 800 dollars

Highly doubtful that you will get the whole ticket dismissed... There is a chance that the officer will amend the citation and send you notice of such, otherwise you can take proof that you were insured at the time of the stop, explain to the judge that you did provide such proof to the officer and the 16028(a) should be dismissed.

Either way, you'll still be held to answer for the speeding violation.
