Getting a Job with Sex Offender History

I was charged with indecent exposure in 98' and 99' when I was 18 and 19yrs old in California. First offense was misdeamenor but second one was felony and I was order to register as sex offender. Currently my lawyer is working on this issue so we can reduce felony to misdeamenor and eventually we have to expunge the record. Biggest problem is whether I can get pardon to remove my sex offender registration duty or not. Also, I am now plan go to either pharmacy or physician assistant school but even if I finish education can I get a State license? Can somebody kindly explain to regarding this matter? Course of my life will change by outcome of this issue otherwise I have to change my major and start everything again.

You should check to be sure that your history and registration won't affect your ability to gain employment in a particular field of study. Registration laws vary by state so you may be able to find states where you don't have to register, but your criminal record may still stand in your way for certain types of employment.
