Default Can an Employee Be Required to Pay Repatriation Costs

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: VA

I am working as a contract medic internationally. Within the contract it says that if I quit before the end of contract I am responsible for getting myself home. Is this legal? Or is a company required to repatriate an employee that they sent overseas?

    Default Re: Repatriation

It's legal if the contract says so. There is no LAW that requires the employer pay for your repatriation if you are terminated for cause or if you resign; in fact, that's pretty common.
