    Question Can Simple Battery Charges Be Dropped

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ga
    I pressed charges againts my daughters boyfriend for simple battery, i want to know rather I can drop the charges. I would rather not but am being pressured by "my" mother to do so I am hoping I am correct in thinking that now it is a state case and out of my hands
