I received a speeding ticket in 2005 VC22349-A. When I got home I noticed that the ticket said Approx Speed 65 and Max Speed 65. This of course means that I was not speeding. I contacted the court, and they stated that the system could not read the ticket, since there was nothing to bill me for. So they sent the ticket back to the officer for a correction. After 8 months, the officer finally sent the Notice of Correction and Proof of Service to my home. He is now stating my Approx Speed was 75. I am planning on doing a trial by declaration, but wanted to subpoena the officer's findings/notes on the citation, but do not know the correct way to go abouts requesting the form. I called the court, and they stated I need to call the citing firm. I could not find the phone number for the branch. I told the court that an officer told me that I have to request it through the court themselves, and the operator stated that they do not do that.
Any advice on whether or not I should fight this ticket?
Also, how to request the officers' findings/notes?
And lastly, the likelyhood this case will be dismissed?
Thank you all in advance.
