Will shoplifting show for a minor in a background check

I was caught shoplifting at robinsons may. at the time I was 17 therefore a minor...and this was the consequence:

-cannot enter robinsons may unless accompanied by an adult or till I turn 18

-entered into a database where if i applied to a store like robinsons may, jcpenny, macy..or any department store similar to robinsons may they would be notified that I had shoplifted. It doesnt mean I wouldnt get the job but for obvious reason I most likely woulnt get it.

-paid a fine or civil deman or whatever of $200

My question is, if I were to apply to some other job that required a background check would it show up. Keep in consideration that I was a minor at that time and its not like this is a g rand theft.

When you turn 18 you can get the file sealed, after that only the court or law enforcement will be able to find the arrest. It shouldn't have a major impact on job hunting and if it ever comes up for some reason, be honest.
