Seeking sources of Legal Aid in Pennsylvania (philadelphia area). Low cost- or pro bono. to assit 18 year old girl from Kyrgyzstan to advise and/or prepare affirmative asylum application. Background: This is a moral and decent young girl, arrived on J1 prior to start of war in her home city (Osh). Despite media reports situation still dire in her home city. Cannot return to her home country for fear of persecution based on religious, ethnic, race and torture (many of her friends raped already). I am trying to assist her to prepare the asylum app but I do not want to make any mistakes that could result in denial. This very serious matter. Any help greatly appreciated. thanks!
