    Default Time Limits for Extradition

My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA

I know somebody that is in jail in the state of NY serving a 2 yr sentence, but got extriadited to PA for other charges, however they are telling me that if 180 days past since the PA charge and extriadtion then the charges will be dropped. They say its some form or legal document they can submit during their next court hearing and they want me to find it on the internet because the public defender they have is useless. I have no idea where to begin. Can anyone help?

You need to try to explain that better, as it's not clear what you're trying to ask. If the person has already been extradited, they're not waiting to be extradited.

Sounds like your buddy is not going to get out of this. He serves his time in NY for his NY crime. Then he he goes to PA to serve that too. He is in custody so his PA crime will still be there when he gets there (or is already there). Who is "They" you keep refering to? There is a huge chance this form your talking about is useless.
