Statute of Limitations for a Wrongful Death Lawsuit

My question involves court procedures for the state of: Colorado
I plead guilty to manslaughter in 2010 to an incident that occurred in 2008 in Colorado. What is the statute of limitations, if any, for the victim's family to file a civil suit? Thank you.

It's generally two years from the date of death, except in cases where a motor vehicle was involved, in which case they'd have three years.

They are rapidly running out of time. I would think that if any family member intended to sue, they would have done so long before this. Also, there are only certain family members that have standing to sue.

Does that include wrongful death suits? One attorney told me the limit is two years, but another said that it is indefinite with a felony.
