Rescinding Guardianship

My question involves guardianship in the State of: I paroled from prison about five months ago...when I got arrested on my case I was pregnant with my 4th child.my husband had our three children & since my last baby wasn't his he wasn't able to pick her up from the hospital when I gave birth.I gave birth in county jail and my family picked her up... Has had her ever since .I spend five years in prison and they do have legal guardianship...although we never went to court.I assum I can get her at any time since I never gave up custody ... Plaza give me some advice
