hey i'm new to this board. i found it on google.
my question is this. i worked for a franchise business for 4 years. recently i decieded to give my notice of me leaving. at the end of my shift they told me it would be best to leave now. ok fine i can live with that.
now i am in process of opening my own business and i keep hearing stories about my ex co workers and owners just ruining my reputation as a person.
from my understanding they can tell people i am no longer affliated with them. but it is legal for them to go around saying i was fired and that i was fraternizing with my students? just basically talkin trash about me to anyone? i will pursue this matter fully if you think i have a case. thanks alot
