Default Workers' Compensation Law
In Dec. 2004 I injured my self at work, I suffer from severe back pain and my doctor told me that is not possible that I can be in pain 24/7. I requested to see a workman's comp doctor because this dr. does not do a thing for me. When I finish work I am a mess because of the lifting I do, I am considering changing jobs, will workman's compensation terminate my benefits of physical therapy? I am really worry that they will close my case and I wont be able to be normal as before "painless"
Please let me know what I am walking into!

Default Workers' Compensation
Among the primary purposes of Wisconsin workers' compensation are helping to make up for income lost due to a work-related injury, and helping to rehabilitate a worker such that the worker can return to the workplace. If you have a pain disorder which requires treatment, by all means seek appropriate treatment through workers' compensation. But if you are going to switch jobs, or do something else which might cause your employer to try to argue that you are rehabilitated or no longer need services due to the different nature of the new job, you may wish to consider consulting with a local workers' compensation lawyer about your situation.

aaron that means that I should seek a lawyer because probably they will terminate the benefit? I end up with two herniated disc (C5-6, C6-7) also I have diffuse disc bulge at T8-9, T7 and T10, If I explain all the bulging disc that I have since that fall at work I will be writing all day.Since then I also have problems with my short memory. My doctor (Neurologist) tells me that is impossible that my back is always in pain. in my last visit she told me that there is nothing she can do for me. I only want to go back to normal but I guess I have no other choice than to hire a Lawyer.
I am a dissapointed worker!
