Nothing is 100%. It is crazy to try to post a thread and not expect someone to take 1% of what was written and make it the Law of the Land.

I could easily take a few of the example and debate the meaning behind the quote especially the "Hawaii". But you made you point and I understand what you said. There no need to question your knowledge or make rude statements. Your point was made and acknowledge.

I actually give you props. The other person is great for their one line insults, but never gives example of their disagreement.

I sure someone understood my point without hashing over every point to see if it would stand up in court.

To the rest who felt they need to add their one line two cents...I bow down to you. You are so intelligent, it is scary.

Ahhh.... now you say nothing is 100%, but you started your little nonsensical diatribe by saying
Yet, in all states married couples are not required to pay for their child college education
See, you said all. All, meaning 100%. It's now not 100% because I proved you wrong. Had I not, you would have stood proud in your statement.

See, this is a legal forum where people post legal questions and you get legal answers. If you want to rant about how the system you put yourself in is unfair and want to cry and complain about it, then you do that elsewhere. Here, if you don't post accurate information, you'll be held to task.
If you wanted babies all to yourself, you should have created them by yourself. Until you do that, children have the right to BOTH parents, especially since you found them suitable to procreate with.

    Aw, do you mean me?

    Yeap. I am rather great, aren't I?

I think you need to FOCUS, Lawrence.

Proud is not the right word. I m proud of myself when I beat a guy half my age in tennis. Ranting and make statements that are true by my own standards or false by everyone doesn't make me proud. You have a wrong perception of me.

As far as my statement (or ranting), I am not convince that you all are right. Legally, you are in a handful of states, but that where it stop. In the real world, which is the one I live in, my statements are pretty accurate. Enforcing the law in those states is not that easy and pretty much impossible. Most kids get student loans if the CP don't or can't pay for college, not get court hearing to get the CP to help pay, (that a real world statement, no need prove me wrong).

But this a "Legal Forum", so I have to admit I am wrong and you are right, and ranting should be taken else where.

I do have another question related to this thread. If a young adult is in college, and the CP is receiving support for post-secondary education expenses, can the support be re-directed and given directly to the young adult, rather than the CP? I have not found any sources on this. My first impression is no, however. Your answers and input are much appreciated. Thank you.

    Nope.

CS is to reimburse the custodial parent....not to go to the child.
