My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: WA.
Today I got pulled over for doing 73 in a 60 zone on I-90. I only answered what was asked of me like:
"Do you know you were speeding?" I said: no.
He said - "you were doing 73". I said: "I can't believe this."
He asked where I was going. I said: work.
He asked where I was coming from. I said: my home (stated the town).
He took my papers. returned with a ticket. It was fairly cut and dry.
I've read alot of your site where you say - dont admit guilt but go to court and fight. I am willing to try this but I want to know what do I say? How do I prepare?
I read you said that I should ask for "Discovery" but what do I do with it?
If the officer is there, how does it work?
I'd like to know what to expect, how to prepare? And, I read that it's good to postpone it as much as possible - does that matter?
Thanks for your advise in advance.
