Getting a credit report from a mortgage lender

Recently I had a morgage company pull my credit and later I decided not to go with them and keep my morgage. My question is do I have a legal right to see my credit score and report that the morgage company pulled. I called them and they would not tell me anything about and said they could not give it to me.

You would ordinarily only be entitled to obtain your credit report after a denial of credit. Sometimes the lender will tell you your score if you ask nicely.

Once per year you can get a copy of your credit report (without the score) from the three major credit bureaus for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com/ . They will try to sell you your credit score, and perhaps other information or services; you don't have to buy anything or pay anything to get the report itself.

they could give you a copy, it is just their policy not to. there is no law requiring them to give you a copy, nor any law prohibiting it.
